The US Department of Defense says the Marines are preparing to send M777 towed 155mm howitzers as part of US security assistance to Ukraine. In addition, other defense equipment will also be supplied.

Recall The M777 is a 155mm towed howitzer used by the US, Australian, Canadian, Indian, Saudi Arabian and Ukrainian ground forces. Capable of firing special ammunition at 30+ km.

By the way, recently, with the help of the American M777A2 howitzer, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the Russian Akatsiya self-propelled artillery mount.
