What kind of mortar
M224 is a light 60mm muzzle-loading, smoothbore company mortar designed for fire support of infantry units, firing a hinged trajectory at short distances in close proximity to friendly troops, where small arms and artillery are ineffective. It was developed in 1973. Since then, the M224 has proven its high reliability and efficiency. It is widely used by special operations forces, airborne troops and other formations of the US Army and Marine Corps. It is served by 3-4 people. The firing range of the mortar reaches 3400 meters (depending on the projectile).
