Ukrainian defenders received Pinzgauer armored all-terrain vehicles
The Territorial Defense Forces of Ukraine received new armored vehicles.
What is known
We are talking about Pinzgauer all-terrain vehicles. Their SRW was handed over by a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the call sign "Mountain". They were brought from the UK. According to published images in Facebook, Ukrainian defenders received 8 cars.
For those who are not in the know
Pinzgauer is a family of highly mobile off-road 4WD (4x4) and 6WD (6x6) military and civilian vehicles. They are produced by an Austrian company Steyr-Daimler-Puch. Cars can be used to transport personnel or for medical needs. They are armored and can tow up to 5,000 kg on the road and up to 1,800 kg off-road. Such all-terrain vehicles are used by the military of Austria, Bolivia, Great Britain, Venezuela, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Oman, Pakistan, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland, and now Ukraine.
