P2 Speeder - a flying motorcycle with jet engines and speeds up to 805 km / h

Company Mayman Aerospace presented a prototype of a flying motorcycle called P2 Speeder with vertical takeoff and high speed.

The vehicle is equipped with eight jet engines that run on CO2. There is also the option of using sustainable aviation fuel. If you wish, the P2 Speeder bears a resemblance to a simple sports bike, but with the wheels removed.

According to the manufacturer, the commercial version of the model will be able to reach speeds of up to 805 km/h. At the same time, the company notes a high level of safety, which is achieved through a proprietary on-board system. It is responsible for balancing the traction in case of engine problems.

P2 Speeder is designed for the needs of military, rescue and police forces. But Mayman Aerospace does not exclude the fact that the flying motorcycle will be useful in other areas. In particular, for cargo transportation and elimination of natural disasters.

The company will begin testing the P2 Speeder in the air in the third quarter of 2022. The manufacturer is planning a pilot test for December.
