Another Russian military aircraft self-destructed without the help of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
What is known
Il-76 crashed on the fields of Ryazan. The Russian Ministry of Defense said that the cause was an engine malfunction. The fire happened while still in the air. It is reported that the Il-76 crashed during a training flight.
The aircraft was flying without additional cargo. The crew was able to identify the problems and attempted a ground landing. But it didn't work out.
Note that this is not the first Russian aircraft of the Military Space Forces, which self-destructed without the intervention of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the week, two Su-25s, An-30s and An-2s took off negatively.
