The BTR-82A is equipped with a 30 mm 2A72 cannon with 300 rounds of ammunition in two belts. Also, the armament includes a 7.62-mm PKTM machine gun with 2000 rounds of ammunition in the tape and a TKN-4GA-02 night sight. The armored personnel carrier is equipped with a KAMAZ-740.14-300 turbodiesel with a capacity of 300 horsepower. The maximum speed is 100 km/h on the highway and 9 km/h afloat.
