$7,000 Valkyrie drone helped destroy Russian ammunition depot for Uragan MLRS (video)
Ukraine continues to actively and effectively use drones in the war against Russia. And not only foreign, but also domestic production.
What is known
The Ukrainian unmanned aerial system Valkyrie helped destroy an ammunition depot for Russian Uragan multiple launch rocket systems. Artillerymen used a drone to correct fire on Russian positions in the Donbass.
Note that the aviation complex includes three Valkyrie drones at once. It also includes a payload for day and night surveillance, antennas, a ground control station and additional equipment.
The fixed wing drone is equipped with an electric motor and weighs less than 4 kg. Flight time in normal weather is 120 minutes. The range is up to 34 km. "Valkyrie" can reach speeds of up to 108 km / h and fly at an altitude of up to 2 km.
The drone entered service with the Ukrainian army in 2015. The cost of the entire complex is not specified, but it is known that in the winter of 2017, one Valkyrie drone with equipment and documentation was purchased for almost UAH 200,000 (approximately $7,100 at the exchange rate at the time of purchase).
