American Technology Network delivered a record $13,200,000 in cryptocurrency to Ukraine
American manufacturer of night vision devices, binoculars and optical systems American Technology Network has supplied a record number of thermal imaging cameras to the Ukrainian Armed Forces since the beginning of the war.
What is known
This was reported by Konstantin Timonkin, an expert on defense supplies. The recipients are the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Main Directorate of Intelligence and the Special Operations Forces. Thanks to the American company, over 15,000 Ukrainian servicemen received thermal imaging cameras.
The shipment was paid for by donations from IT-entrepreneurs, private donors and the company's own contribution. The total amount was $13 200 000. However, American Technology Network accepted funds in cryptocurrency without violating Ukrainian or U.S. law.
This is the first agreement in the history of the cryptocurrency and military goods markets that was paid in digital currency directly to the manufacturer's account.
