Evil Dead: The Game received an update on the theme of "Army of Darkness"

Saber has released a major update for Evil Dead: The Game based on Army of Darkness, the third film in the franchise. There added a new map, free exploration mode and more.

Let's list the main innovations and changes of the Army of Darkness update:

• Kandar Castle map.
• Weapons: mace and crossbow with explosive charges.
• Paid skins for the Survivor Demon, including two skins for Ash Williams, a skin each for Lord Arthur and Henry the Red, and one skin for the Necromancer Demon.
• The costumes are sold as a set, and season pass holders will receive them for free. A couple of Ash's outfits were taken out in separate products.
• Exploration mode is a single-player option that will allow you to roam around any map.

• On the PC, the ability to turn on voice chat after pressing a button has been introduced.
• Among the new graphics settings
  • Smoothing quality (PC).
  • Motion blur (PC).
  • Control sensitivity.
  • Xbox Series S Performance Mode.
  • "Fix" for 16:9 and 16:10 resolutions.
• 16:10 The Crossbow Master skill now applies to all crossbows in the game.

We will remind, in Evil Dead: The Game characters from different parts of the film franchise were brought together. Therefore, the appearance of medieval weapons and a castle in asymmetric action is quite expected.

Evil Dead: The Game is available on PC (Epic Games Store), PlayStation and Xbox. A Nintendo Switch version should be released later.
