Ukrainian Armed Forces received DeltaQuad, EOS C VTOL and Leleka-100 drones for $375,000
Ukrainian servicemen received several drones from the Netherlands, Estonia and also Ukraine.
What we know
Volunteer Serhiy Prytula reported about it. This week his charitable foundation sent a Leleka-100 unmanned aerial vehicle system with two drones worth UAH 2 million ($68,000) and the Dutch DeltaQuad UAVs to the 95th Brigade.
Also Serhiy Prytula earlier handed over to the army the Estonian UAV EOS C VTOL for €185,000. Thus, the charity organization spent almost 11,000,000 ($375,000) on drones.
We have already written many times about the drones "Leleka-100" and EOS C VTOL, so now we will focus on the drones DeltaQuad from the Netherlands. Serhiy Prytula's post states that the foundation spent about €100,000 on them. One drone costs €10,000.
DeltaQuad is an aircraft-type UAV, but with four rotors, like in a quadcopter. It is available in Base, One and Pro versions. The Pro version allows the use of an autopilot with a secure communication channel and has a set of sensors to determine the environment.
The drone can fly up to 100 km without recharging. The maximum weight of the payload is 1 kg. The DeltaQuad is already being used in Switzerland and Australia to deliver light parcels. In addition, UAVs are used in Africa to deliver medicines.
