What we know
Earlier we wrote that Ukraine was in talks about deliveries of long-range missiles for HIMARS. on July 15, the Financial Times published a large text interview with Oleksiy Reznikov, in which the Ukrainian defense minister expressed confidence in obtaining projectiles with a range of 300 km.
According to Reznikov, the United States was wary of supplying Ukraine with long-range missiles because it could lead to an escalation of the war. However, after the Armed Forces demonstrated the effectiveness of American MLRS by destroying a large number of ammunition depots behind the front lines, the partners would be ready to transfer more HIMARS, as well as missiles with a range of 300 km.
