The U.S. and allies will transfer over 20 HIMARS multiple-launch rocket systems to Ukraine
The Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive more than two dozen MLRS HIMARS.
What is known
The U.S. Department of Defense has officially announced that the U.S. and its allies will supply more than 20 units to Ukraine HIMARS. At the same time, the Pentagon confirmed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have already received 12 multiple rocket launchers.

The US emphasizes that along with HIMARS Ukraine receives 80 km range rockets. U.S. officials are still not talking about supplies of long-range missiles, which hit at a distance of 300 kilometers.

The United States has also trained 200 Ukrainian troops for HIMARS. The crew of one HIMARS multiple rocket launcher consists of three people.
