Der Spiegel: German Panzerhaubitze 2000 howitzers are failing due to high intensity of firing by the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The Armed Forces of Ukraine could have problems with the German self-propelled artillery units Panzerhaubitze 2000 a month after receiving them.

According to the German publication, Ukraine reported to Germany that after intensive use, several Panzerhaubitze 2000 units produced error messages. It is likely that they are in need of repair. At that time, the Armed Forces received seven German-made howitzers.
The German Defense Ministry believes that the problem may be due to the high intensity of firing. Experts believe that this had an impact on the charging mechanism of the artillery pieces. Germany considers 100 rounds per day to be a high level of firing intensity.
According to Der Spiegel, Germany has pledged to give Ukraine additional sets of spare parts, which will allow repair work and restore the Panzerhaubitze 2000 in a short time. At the same time, the Bundestag is negotiating with Poland to create a repair center that will reduce the time for transporting the damaged equipment.
