Iran unveiled the Karrar drone with a six-barreled Akhgar machine gun, Azaraksh missiles, turbojet engine and a speed of 900 km/h

This week Iran demonstrated several drones as part of the exercise, including the Karrar. This was a debut for it. There is also a modification with a six-barreled machine gun.

Here's What We Know

The Karrar is a combat drone that can also be used for reconnaissance. It is equipped with a Toloue-4 turbojet engine and weighs 400 kg. The maximum flight speed of the drone is 900 km/h, and cruising speed is 700 km/h.

Striking Iranian drone can climb to a height of up to 9 km. And the range is approximately 400 km with a full payload (unguided or guided bombs), or 1000 km if the UAV is used for reconnaissance.

The Karrar can also be used as a fighter. It has already been tested with Azaraksh air-to-air missiles, which are an analogue of the American AIM-9 Sidewinder. But the main feature of the drone is a six-barreled Akhgar 7.62mm machine gun. It has a sighting range of 1 km and can fire up to 6,000 rounds per minute. Naturally, the machine gun is also copied from the US. The Akhgar is a copy of the M134 Minigun.

The machine gun should help in the fight against enemy helicopters and aircraft. At the same time, Iran has not demonstrated the Akhgar's operation in flight. It is possible that the technology has not yet been completed.
