The Turkish company Baykar conducted the first tests of the jet engine in the Kizilelma unmanned aerial vehicle.

Here's What We Know

The tests took place on September 17. This was announced by Selçuk Bayraktar, technical director and co-owner of the Turkish company. The tests were conducted at Özdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center.

Baykar will continue to conduct ground tests of the Bayraktar Kizilelma drone. By the way, the manufacturer does not call its development a drone, but a fighter jet. The first test flight of the Kizilelma is scheduled for 2023.
