The cost of all Tesla electric cars in the U.S. after the official price reduction
Telsa has officially reduced the cost of cars in the United States. All of the manufacturer's cars have gone down in price. And in some cases, the discount is more than $20,000.
Here's What We Know
We have already written about the fact that the basic version of the Model Y costs $ 13,000 cheaper, and another $ 7500 buyers can save at the expense of tax deductions (Federal Tax Credit), which applies to electric cars of American assembly. This benefit also applies to both sets of the Model 3.
Federal Tax Credit does not apply to the Model Y Performance, as even with the discount of $13,000 the price of an electric car is more than $56,990. At the same time, the tax credit applies to cars costing up to $55,000.
In the table below you can see the new prices for Elon Musk's electric cars. The new price is not including the Federal Tax Credit. Cars that are eligible for the tax credit are italicized. We'll add that the Model S in the Plaid configuration got cheaper by $21,000 even without taking into account the Federal Tax Credit. At the same time, the Model X Plaid dropped by $19,000.
