Ukrainian Armed Forces showcase Danish version of CAESAR SAU based on Tatra 815-7 chassis (video)
Last month it was reported that Ukraine had received CAESAR self-propelled artillery units from Denmark. Now the AFU has shown one of them on video.
Here's What We Know
The video of the system was published on social networks. The Danish version of the SAU has 8x8 wheel arrangement and is based on the Tatra 815-7 chassis. The system differs from the French version by its increased weight, improved armour and ammunition with 36 rounds instead of 18. A total of 19 such units have been received by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Flashback
The CAESAR is a French 155mm SAU designed to destroy manpower, artillery batteries, bunkers as well as to provide passages in minefields and field barrages. The SAU has a maximum firing range of 42 km, although last year French self-propelled artillery installations CAESAR will be able to shoot up to 70 km was presented for installation. The CAESAR SAU is capable of firing 6 rounds per minute. It is operated by a crew of 4-5 people.
