nubia announces Red Magic QD-OLED 5K gaming monitor with 240Hz frame rate

The Chinese brand nubia has announced a curved gaming monitor. The model is called Red Magic QD-OLED.

Here's What We Know

The monitor features a QD-OLED panel with a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels. According to the manufacturer, the display displays 99% of the DCI-P3 colour space and has a 240Hz refresh rate. The pixel density is 109 ppi.

The Red Magic QD-OLED supports AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies. In addition, we note the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification and 0.3 ms response time. The curvature radius is 1800R and the diagonal size is 49".

The monitor is equipped with DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1 and USB-C connectors. The latter has support for 90W fast charging and allows charging laptops. The two speakers have 5 watts each.

The nubia promises that a smaller model with a curved screen will come along with the Red Magic QD-OLED 49" in the future. The diagonal will be 34". But for now, the cost of neither the former nor the latter is not specified.
