The Ukrainian Defence Forces for the first time showed in action French TRF1 howitzers with a range of up to 30 km

Last year, the Ukrainian Armed Forces received a batch of TRF1 howitzers from France. A few months later, the first photos of the French weapons on the frontline during combat missions were published.

Artillerymen of the National Guard Brigade of Ukraine "Azov" published several photos demonstrating the combat operation of TRF1 howitzers. The description to the photos notes the high accuracy of the French weapon and states that it was used to destroy Russian D-30 guns.

TRF1 is a 155 mm howitzer of the French company KNDS. The artillery piece was developed and introduced in the 1970s. The howitzer can fire up to six rounds per minute and is capable of engaging targets up to 30 kilometres away.
