France transfers six TRF1 howitzers with a range of up to 30 km to Ukraine

The Armed Forces of Ukraine received a new batch of TRF1 artillery systems.

Here's What We Know

The 155mm howitzers were delivered to Ukraine from France. A total of six artillery systems manufactured by the GIAT company were delivered to the Armed Forces from Paris.

The TRF1 is a self-propelled howitzer. It can move independently over short distances on the battlefield. Tractors are used to transport it over long distances.

The howitzer can fire high-explosive fragmentation and active rocket launchers at a rate of 6 rounds per minute. Maximum range is 24 km and 30 km respectively.
