US prepares another $400m military aid package for Ukraine

On 19 July, the United States of America announced $1.3bn worth of military aid for Ukraine and is now preparing another arms package.

Here's What We Know

The information was shared by the American edition of CNN. The new aid package may be announced as early as this week. It will be for $400 million and will include ammunition for air defence systems NASAMS and Patriot, shells for multiple rocket launchers HIMARS and ammunition for artillery.

The weapons will not have to wait long for delivery. It is planned to be taken from the US Army stockpile.
