Xiaomi is preparing smartphones with artificial intelligence, while MIUI already has 300 million users
As the founder and CEO of Xiaomi Lei Jun, artificial intelligence is one of the main priorities for the company for the next 10 years. Moreover, the first Xiaomi smartphones with integrated AI will appear already in 2018.
Not so long ago the company announced a cooperation with the Chinese giant Baidu in the field of artificial intelligence and the "Internet of things". On the home market, Xiaomi also released a proprietary smart speaker with a voice assistant. It is possible that the assistant will appear on the smartphones of the brand, however, while he understands only Chinese.
Xiaomi can follow the example of Huawei and use AI to optimize the smartphone and improve the quality of images. It remains to be hoped that the flagship Xiaomi Mi 7 with a powerful chipset Snapdragon 845 will receive support for the new technology.
And what about MIUI?
Speaking at the world conference on Internet in Chinese Uchen, Lei Jun said that the number of users of the branded shell MIUI already exceeds 300 million. Only over the past year and a half, this figure has increased by 100 million, and Xiaomi is not going to slow down.
The company also continues to update its smartphones to MIUI 9. There are more than two dozen models in the list, for some of them it will be the last update.
