Capcom has shown screenshots of Resident Evil 4 Remake and Resident Evil Village on Apple devices and shared new details of these versions

We wrote that at the last Apple presentation, it was announced how the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be able to run native versions of Resident Evil Village and the Resident Evil 4 remake. Now, screenshots of the games and new details have been shown.

Here's What We Know

Capcom has announced that the games will be released later this year. But not only iPhone owners will be able to play these games. They will be available on iPad Air and iPad Pro with M1 processor. Resident Evil 4 Remake will also appear on Mac. We would like to remind you that Village is already available on this device.

The games will also feature cross-progression (when your saves are available on multiple devices at once). RE 4 supports this feature on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, while Village only supports it on iPhone and iPad.

Also, by purchasing RE 4 you will get the game on 3 devices at once: iPhone, iPad and Mac. But if you bought Village on Mac, you will not get the iPhone or iPad version.

The price of the games is still unknown. All we know is that they will have free demos, so everyone will be able to get acquainted with the projects before buying.

Now the most interesting part is the screenshots. An IGN journalist who was able to play Resident Evil noted that the textures and overall visuals impressed him, but it is unknown in what resolution the games are launched, but it is unlikely that we will see a soap in the "potato" mode. After all, if new titles can be launched on the Switch, which was released in 2017, what about a phone with such a powerful processor in 2023?

RE 4 and RE Village remake screenshots on Apple devices

In the screenshots, you can still see the layout on the screen, and there may be some "nuances" here. Even on a laptop screen, they take up a lot of space, and the screen on an iPhone is even smaller. And it's still hard to imagine how you can press L2, R2, and even rotate the camera with the touch keys at the same time and walk at the same time. Of course, you can get used to everything, but games also support gamepads, so for a better experience, it's better to use them.
