Monopod with a three-axis stabilization suspension supports work with Yi 4K, 4K + and Lite, no compatibility is reported with the competitors' cameras. Under the finger are the joystick, power buttons, recording and switching modes. YI Action Gimbal weighs 310 grams and is equipped with two batteries of 18350 format with a capacity of 850 mAh each. Full charge will last for an average of 6-8 hours of operation.
With the cameras, the gadget communicates via Bluetooth. There are four modes of operation (turn, tilt, lock and self). Maximum angles of rotation and tilt are 320 degrees. Below there is a standard mount for accessories.
Price and competitors
In the official store of the manufacturer on AliExpress, the manual stabilizer will cost almost $ 200. The main competitor of YI Action Gimbal is FeiyuTech FY-G5 with splash protection, guaranteed by GoPro support, the function of shooting panoramas and the possibility of recharging the camera from the built-in battery.
Curiously, the day before YI Action Gimbal could be bought for $ 150. We are waiting for stocks with discounts, especially since DJI set a trend to reduce the price bracket for stedicams (although the new Osmo Mobile 2 is designed to work with a smartphone).
