TP-Link Ukraine expects a 10-fold increase in sales of smartphones Neffos in 2018

A few years ago, TP-Link decided to storm the smartphone market and launched the Neffos line. Today Ukraine ranks second in sales of brand devices, and in 2018 the company expects to strengthen its positions.

Great plans

Studies have shown that the determining factor in choosing a new smartphone is the price-performance ratio. The manufacturer is betting on this. In 2017, sales of TP-Link smartphones in Ukraine showed a three-fold increase, and the most popular model was the Neffos X1 Lite state budget with a fingerprint scanner (a rarity in the "up to 3000 hryvnia" segment).

In 2018 the company is going to improve its result and sell 10 times (!) More smartphones in Ukraine. In priority, low-cost models with the maximum set of functions, and some new products of Neffos are already preparing to enter our market.

Than to be at war?

The flagship of the brand stands Neffos N1 - a metal smartphone with 5.5-inch Full HD-display. Inside, the eight-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor, 4 GB RAM is used, and the built-in storage capacity is 64 GB. The main feature of the device was a dual main camera for 12 + 12 megapixels with background blur mode. The front module is 8-megapixel. By design, the device is a bit like Huawei devices (not everyone can copy iPhone). Neffos N1 will cost 8,000 or so, but the release date is not specified.

TP-Link focuses on the more massive Neffos C7. He got an HD screen with a diagonal of 5.5 inches, a MediaTek MT6750 chipset, a 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. Covering the case creates a feeling of metal surface, on the back panel is a fingerprint scanner. The main 13-megapixel camera with a phase autofocus, front camera with 8 megapixels with a wide viewing angle. For autonomy, the battery is responsible for 3060 mAh. The price of the issue is 3800 UAH.

The main competitor Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A does not have a fingerprint scanner and supports 5 GHz Wi-Fi, but the Chinese costs a little less (3600 hryvnia).

The most affordable offer in the lineup was Neffos C5a for 2000 hryvnia. It received a 5-inch TN-panel with a resolution of 854x480 pixels, a MediaTek MT6580M chipset, a 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal memory, a basic 5-megapixel and frontal 2-megapixel camera. The battery is 2300 mAh. In pluses we will write down a two-year warranty, which applies to all smartphones of the brand. In the rest it is a typical entry-level device.

Budgetary Neffos Y5s is suitable for work in 4G LTE networks, which will appear in Ukraine this spring . The smartphone with a 5-inch HD-screen is built on a Snapdragon 212 chipset, equipped with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of flash memory. There are cameras for 8 and 2 megapixels, the battery capacity is 2450 mAh. It is still unknown when (and if) the device will go on sale in our country.

Just the beginning

The second and third quarters are scheduled to release four more gadgets. New X-series devices will receive screens with an aspect ratio of 18: 9 (or 2: 1). At the end of the year will be another model of a higher class.
