Windows 10 Mobile is living out its last days, but until the platform is not completely buried, Microsoft decided to sell off the remains of the old Lumia smartphones.
What happened?
Users were very surprised when they found the Lumia 950, 950 XL, 550 and 650 smartphones in the US store. These are the latest models of the famous line, presented in late 2015 - early 2016. As representatives of the company later informed, the devices appeared in the catalog on the 4th of February. Since they were not displayed in the general section for smartphones, this fact was left out of the public's attention.
When the information went to profile media, smartphones were almost immediately sold out. And this despite the fact that the company dropped the price only for the top Lumia 950/950 XL (they could be bought at a discount of $ 150):
