Samsung introduced the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy A8 Enterprise Edition

After the announcement of Galaxy S9 and S9 + on MWC 2018, Samsung introduced Galaxy S9 and Galaxy A8 Enterprise Edition.

What is known

Both smartphones do not differ in characteristics from their usual versions. But they have features related to software. Novelties received a 3-year license Knox Configure (remote configuration of corporate devices). Also, Samsung promised to update smartphones within 4 years. To be more precise, Galaxy S9 and Galaxy A8 Enterprise Edition will receive monthly security patches for 3 years, and the last year - quarterly updates. Device administrators in corporations can choose which updates to install and which do not. Also, the devices have a 2-year warranty.

When to expect

Novelties are already available for purchase, but so far only in Germany. The cost of the Galaxy S9 EE is € 849, and the Galaxy A8 EE is € 499.
