Google smartphones lose apps and block memory access after getting Android 14 operating system

Google has already released a new version of the Android operating system. As often happens, the update is accompanied by problems.

Here's What We Know

The Google Issue Tracker service recorded an increase in the number of problems in smartphones of the Pixel series, which received the Android 14 operating system. In some devices, applications disappeared and memory access was blocked.

Google Pixel 6 smartphones were the first to suffer, but over time, owners of other models in the series reported problems. The US company said that software developers are already working on a fix.

One of the unusual problems is blocking access to storage. Google said that the glitch is seen in Pixel 6 and later models, which received Android 14 and have multiple profiles.

Google has released a Google Play update to prevent the lockup. For users who have factory reset, the company recommends that they only use one account until they receive the Android 14 update.
