Razer Phone will not get Android 8.0 Oreo, but will immediately upgrade to version 8.1
Razer Phone was introduced at the end of last year. Out of the box, the smartphone worked on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and the company promised to update it in 2018. Apparently, the update is already on the way.

In its Twitter account, the manufacturer announced the release of the beta version of the new OS. But the most interesting is that it's Android 8.1 Oreo, not 8.0. In the update there are many innovations: the mode of "picture in picture", the point of notification over applications, autocomplete, the indicator of the charge of Bluetooth-devices and much more. Also the company optimized the system a bit and corrected the mistakes of the previous one. In addition, they installed the February security patch.
