LG announces Android 8.0 Oreo update for LG G6
LG has released a new version of the firmware based on Android 8.0 Oreo for the flagship of 2017 - LG G6.
What is known
The update contains all the innovations of the new operating system: the picture-in-picture function, the notification points, autocomplete, and so on. In addition, improved speed of the interface, battery life, and added the capabilities of AI, the same as in the LG V30 ThinQ .
The new version of the OS will begin to "arrive" on smartphones already in the first days of May, but so far only at home, in South Korea. Nevertheless, the global announcement is not far off. As the company reports, next in line for update flagship smartphones in 2016: G5 and V20.

Recall, LG G6 has 5.7-inch display with an aspect ratio of 18: 9 and a resolution of 2880 × 1440 pixels. The Snapdragon 821 chip with Adreno 530 graphics, 3/4 GB of RAM and 32/64 GB of ROM is responsible for the device's operation. Also in the smartphone there is a slot for microSD cards up to 256 GB. In addition, the G6 has a dual 13 megapixel main camera and a 3300 mAh battery.
