One-Netbook OneMix: Pocket Laptop-Transformer from China

Remember, we talked about a miniature laptop GPD Pocket? The creators of the gadget collected 3.5 million dollars for Indiegogo, and now other companies will try to repeat their success. The Chinese brand One-Netbook, for example, presented its version of the device called OneMix, however, it did without crowdfinding.

How is it interesting?

One-Netbook OneMix also received a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels, compared with the model GPD added touch input and the ability to rotate 360 degrees. True, the thickness of the resulting "tablet" is a decent 17 mm. Supported work with the corporate stylus (2048 levels of depression). Apparently, it is not in the standard delivery set.

Inside OneMix we use the familiar four-core Intel Atom x5-Z8350 chipset with low power consumption. RAM 8 GB, built-in storage for 128 GB. There is a slot for microSD cards. The keyboard is equipped with a backlight, which also was not in the GPD Pocket. Due to the compact size, we had to abandon the standard layout. Instead of a full touchpad - an optical trackpoint (as in the old BlackBerry and the first Android-smartphones).

The pocket notebook is enclosed in a metal case and weighs 515 grams. The capacity of the battery is 6500 mAh. There is Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, full-size USB 3.0 port, symmetrical USB Type-C and Micro USB (official images show charging from the latter). There's still a 3.5-mm headset jack. Operating system - Windows 10.

Question price

The Chinese online store Geekbuying has already opened pre-order on OneMix for $ 460. For comparison, GPD Pocket with a more powerful chip (but without some chips of the novelty) costs $ 510 . These are niche devices for enthusiasts, and in the case of One-Netbook, things get complicated because nobody knows this brand. GPD at the time of release of its mini-notebook has already gained fame thanks to portable Windows-consoles.
