Microsoft introduces the ability to use Android phones as webcams for Windows 11 PCs

Windows 11 and Android users will get many useful innovations thanks to an update from Microsoft. The corporation plans to provide the ability to use the cameras of its Android devices as webcams for computers running Windows 11.

Here's What's New About It

This new feature, which is currently only available to Windows 11 insiders, allows owners of Android 9 and higher devices to seamlessly use their device's camera as a webcam on a Windows 11 PC. To do this, users need to download the Link to Windows app.

With the update, users will not only be able to use the camera of their Android phone or tablet in video applications on a Windows 11 PC, but also switch between the rear and front cameras, and control the stream and effects similar to those available on regular webcams.

According to Microsoft, this feature is currently being tested among Windows 11 insiders, but regular users can expect it in the next update.
