Yoshida told the journalists that the development of PC-version of Final Fantasy XVI is at the final stage. In fact, the developers only have to optimise the game and make sure it works.

Naoki Yoshida also said that gamers who expect to play Final Fantasy XVI on PC, especially at high settings, should take into account that the system requirements of the game will be such that they will need a powerful and modern computer.

Earlier, the Japanese said that in order to play Final Fantasy XVI on PC it is necessary to use SSD - a regular hard drive will not be able to load the game.

Yoshida mentioned that before the release of Final Fantasy XVI on PC Square Enix will definitely release a free demo version.

According to the producer, that Final Fantasy XVI port is planned for release in 2024.
