God of War (2018) appeared on GOG and received a 50% discount

If you don't have a PlayStation, but you really want to play God of War (2018) and get the game at a discount, then we have good news.

Here's What We Know

The PC version of God of War appeared on Steam in early 2022, but now the game has reached the GOG digital store. In honour of this event, God of War is now $20 instead of $40 on GOG until 29 March.

Another feature of GOG versions of games is that they are DRM-free. That is, you do not need an Internet connection to prove that you own the game. And even if the store closes, the game is removed from sale, or something else, you will still have access to the game if it is DRM-free.

We would like to remind you that in 2018, the game won the Game of the Year nomination at The Game Awards and received 9 points from critics and players on Metacritic.

Flashback

God of War (2018) is a 3-person adventure game that is also a relaunch of the series. In it, Kratos left Greece and moved to Scandinavia. Now he has a son, Atreus, but the God of War still doesn't know what it's like to be a father, and during their journey, he will have to become the one Atreus needs so badly.

Players will find a semi-open world, secrets, charismatic characters, an epic soundtrack and detailed graphics that will give them an epic journey.

The game's brutal combat system is worth noting. Kratos uses several types of weapons, rune attacks, combinations, and the help of Atreus. And the game doesn't get boring even at the end of the passage, because thanks to different enemies and situations, the game manages to keep the player engaged.
