Microsoft warns: an important condition must be met to access Diablo IV in Game Pass

Tomorrow is an important event for the Xbox ecosystem: the first Activision Blizzard game will be available on Game Pass - Diablo 4.

But to get access to the game in this service, you need to fulfil one important condition.

Here's What We Know

Microsoft reports that in order to pass Diablo IV in Game Pass users need to link to their account account account in the service Battle.net.

  • Open the Xbox app on PC and make sure you're logged into your Microsoft account linked to Game Pass. Next, click Diablo IV and then click the "Install" button.
  • Click "Install Battle.net" and complete the installation (if you already have Battle.net installed, you'll automatically be taken to the next step).
  • You will be prompted to link your Battle.net account to your Microsoft account. If you already have a Battle.net account, you can log in to it to complete the connection, or you can create a Battle.net account to connect.
  • By downloading Battle.net and connecting your accounts, you will be able to complete the installation of Diablo IV.

This requirement applies to both Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.

The need to connect to Battle.net is a logical requirement, as all Blizzard games are linked to this service and do not function without it. You can be sure that as other Blizzard games are added to Xbox Game Pass, the need to connect to Battle.net will continue.
