Capcom's profits rise for eleventh consecutive year: company's financial report shows excellent performance

Capcom has presented its report for the last fiscal year.
As expected by analysts of the Japanese company, the success of Dragonʼs Dogma 2 and Street Fighter 6 allowed the company to significantly increase profits.
Here's What We Know
From the report it became known that Capcom for the eleventh consecutive year increased profits, which is clearly due to the high quality of the publisher's games and interest in them from gamers.
Thus,
- revenue was $ 977 million, an increase of 21% year-on-year;
- Capcom's net income corresponds to $278 million, up 18% year-on-year.
In addition, Capcom updated the sales figure for a number of its games.
Thus, as of 31 March 2023, it has sold:
- 2.62 million copies of Dragon's Dogma 2;
- 3.3 million copies of Street Fighter 6;
- 7.02 million copies of the Resident Evil 4 remake (2023);
- 25.3 million copies of Monster Hunter: World;
- 7.5 million copies of Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen.
- Total sales of the Monster Hunter franchise have surpassed 100 million copies.
Capcom is not going to slow down the pace of releasing high-end games, and the Japanese developers will tell about their plans for 2025 later.
