Virtual photography is becoming more and more popular, and it is very difficult to create exciting snapshots in games without a photo mode. However, not all developers add photo mode at release. Alan Wake 2 is the first to come to mind, where it hasn't appeared in more than six months, but Senua's Saga, the most anticipated game of May, has: Hellblade II will have a photo mode.

Here's What We Know

Ninja Theory has published a video demonstrating the capabilities of the photo mode in Senua's Saga: Hellblade II.

In addition to the standard brightness, filters, and focus settings, players will be able to add artificial lighting. You can add several lighting sources and adjust the brightness and contrast for each. We have already seen something similar in The Last of Us Part I.

Also, a feature that allows you to move characters on a screenshot was shown. The video demonstrates how the main character is rotated by several degrees and then moved in the frame. Thus, with this photo mode, virtual photographers will disappear in the game for tens of hours.

When We Can Expect It

Senua's Saga: Hellblade II will be released on 21 May on PC, Xbox Series, and Game Pass.
