Publisher 2K may announce the seventh part of the historical grand strategy game Civilisation at Summer Game Fest: the game's logo has appeared online

Shortly before Summer Game Fest's opening ceremony, 2K's website spotted a hint of another announcement that may be made at the show.

In the information space is still not over the discussion, what game will be presented by the publisher 2K. At first, insiders and journalists assumed that the wording "the Summer Game Fest will see the announcement of a sequel to one of 2K's most popular and successful franchises" meant the presentation of Mafia 4, but after that an insider about the presentation of Borderlands 4 was heard.

However, it looks like the publisher will offer a third option: on the website 2K "accidentally" found the logo of Sid Meier's Civilisation VII - the new part of the popular series of historical grand-strategies.

Recall, back in February 2023 studio Firaxis confirmed work on a new part of Civilisation.

The discovered logo does not cancel the possible announcement of Mafia 4 or a new part of Borderlands, as 2K can show any of these games, or make several announcements at once.
