Craig Federighi, Apple's senior vice president of software development, ridiculed computers with artificial intelligence and Windows tablets
After the WWDC conference, Apple executives, including Craig Federighi, Greg Joswiak, and John Giannandrea, gave a series of interviews discussing iOS 18, Apple Intelligence, and other new products.
Here's What We Know
During the annual interview with The Talk Show Live, Craig Federighi, Senior Vice President of Software Engineering at Apple, emphasised that Apple has been using neural engines in its Macs since 2020.
However, the corporation does not call them "AI PCs", unlike some competitors.
Federighi and Joswiak also commented on the idea that the iPad should be able to dual-boot iPadOS and macOS.
Federighi joked that Apple is not trying to create something like Windows 8. He noted that he loves his iPad and spends a lot of time on it doing different things. The senior vice president also loves his Mac and doesn't want the two devices to become one and the same.
Apple is committed to continuing to make the iPad the best device in its class.
