YouTube for Android TV gets stable volume feature
YouTube on Android TV and Google TV now supports Stable Volume, which was previously only available on smartphones and tablets.
Here's How It Works
This new feature, known as Stable Volume, automatically adjusts the volume of YouTube videos for a more consistent viewing experience. It helps to reduce the jarring difference in volume levels between different parts of the video, making for a more comfortable listening experience.
How To Switch It On
Users can find the Steady Volume switch on the playback screen where they can turn this option on or off by default. This is especially useful when watching a large amount of content where the volume difference can be noticeable.
While this feature may not be ideal for all cases, it creates a more enjoyable viewing experience on YouTube, especially for content where varying volumes can be an issue, such as podcasts or videos with uneven audio.
