One UI 7.0 is expected to see the biggest changes in the history of this interface

According to recent reports, Samsung is planning to make significant changes to its UI design with the release of One UI 7.0, which will be based on Android 15.

Here's What We Know

According to a reliable source @UniverseIce, the company will introduce a completely new icon design, which happens extremely rarely - about once every 5 years. One UI 7.0 is expected to be the most changed version of the interface in its history.

Some previous reports have also mentioned the possible arrival of a vertical app list. The One UI 7.0 beta testing programme for the Galaxy S24 series could begin in the next two months and then expand to older models like the Galaxy S23.

One UI 7.0 is expected to be officially announced at Samsung Developer Conference 2024, which will be held on 3 October. A stable version of the update could be released in October or November this year for all compatible high-end and mid-range devices, while entry-level devices could receive the update in the first quarter of 2025.
