Apple has moved the power button in M4 Mac mini: now it's at the bottom of the case

Apple has introduced an updated Mac mini with M4 chip, which features a modern design and additional ports in a compact body.

Here's What We Know

To optimise space, the company had to change the location of the power button. Now it is located at the bottom of the device.

According to Macintosh, users will have to tilt the Mac mini to switch it on or off.

This has caused some criticism from the audience, as Apple has previously received comments about the inconvenient location of controls on other devices, such as the Magic Mouse.

However, the power button is unlikely to be used that often, as most users put their computers to sleep rather than turn them off.

The new power button is located at the back left of the Mac mini, below the three Thunderbolt ports. Prices for the new Mac mini start at $599, and it is already available for pre-order. The official launch is scheduled for Friday, 8 November.
