Activision is actively fighting cheaters in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Most of the offenders can be found in ranked matches, but it is there that the company hands out cheat bans in batches.

Here's What We Know

The Ranked Play mode was launched on 20 November and is available for players who have won at least 50 victories in the multiplayer game. And within a week, Activision banned more than 19,000 cheaters in this mode.

The game is checked for cheaters every hour, and artificial intelligence systems continue to be enhanced by optimising code to speed up compliance.

And in the case of a paid game and the 50-win requirement, it is somewhat problematic to return to Call of Duty to continue to spoil everyone's mood.
