Casio unveils new G-Shock G-Steel GST-B400CX-1AJR watch for the Year of the Snake with Bluetooth and solar charging

Casio has introduced the new G-Shock G-Steel GST-B400CX-1AJR, which is now available for pre-order in Japan.

Here's What We Know

This model is dedicated to the Year of the Snake and has several design elements. The watch's dial, bracelet and buttons are decorated with patterns reminiscent of snake skin, and the packaging has an "eternal snake" motif, similar to the symbol of infinity.

The G-Shock G-Steel GST-B400CX-1AJR has Bluetooth connectivity for connecting with your phone. This allows you to download the Casio Watches app and use functions such as reminders, phone search and automatic time setting.

The watch also supports the time in 38 cities around the world, has a stopwatch with an accuracy of 1/100th of a second, a battery indicator and dual LED backlighting. Solar charging extends the battery life.

This watch can be pre-ordered in Japan for ¥61,600 ($410), and in other countries it can be imported through resellers such as Chrono24, where it costs around $471 before shipping costs.
