Another insider confirmed that Sony is developing a portable console

The portable gaming market is becoming increasingly competitive: Microsoft is working on a portable Xbox, and Sony is reportedly developing a portable device capable of running PlayStation games natively.

This claim, which was initially reported by Bloomberg, was confirmed by John Linneman of Digital Foundry, who recalled hearing similar information earlier this year from various sources.
Linneman noted that the device is in very early stages and could be several years away from launch, which coincides with Bloomberg's report.
Although no official confirmation has been made, there is growing evidence that Sony is exploring the possibility of developing a new portable PlayStation console.
