FPS will not be stolen: despite players' fears, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will not have Denovo anti-piracy protection
Players don't like it when Denuvo anti-piracy protection is added to games. And this is not because everyone wants to download the game for free. The problem is that Denuvo affects optimisation, which is not very pleasant. However, this will not be the case in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, although at first it seemed the opposite.
Here's What We Know
Players saw a mention of DRM protection in the database of the upcoming Indiana Jones game and decided that the game would have protection. However, Bethesda explained that the game will not have any anti-piracy protection.
Although there is indeed DRM protection, it is in a special version that was sent to bloggers and the media for review to prevent data leakage. At the release, players will get the game without Denuvo, so no one will take away your fps (as long as the optimisation itself is good).
When We Can Expect It
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is out on 9 December for Xbox Series X/S, Game Pass, and PC, and for PS5 next spring.
