In Andrzej Sapkowski's new book, Rozdroże kruków, the year of birth of one of the most beloved characters in the series, Geralt of Rivia, has finally been confirmed. According to the information published in this book, Geralt was born in 1211. This discovery was an important addition to the Witcher universe, as the exact age of the character remained unknown before.

Here's What We Know

Now that we know the year of Geralt's birth, we can calculate his age at different periods of the series. At the beginning of the first The Witcher game, he is 59 years old, in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which takes place in 1272, he is 61 years old, and in the Blood and Wine expansion (1275), he is already 64 years old.

It is also worth noting that the rules of life in the fantasy world of The Witcher allow witches to live much longer than ordinary people. Although witches sometimes die in battles before they reach old age.

But speaking of Geralt, he looks great for 60 years old. Although I can't say that 60 is too old (except for the fantasy world, where living to 30 is already a super achievement). Now I wonder how much Geralt will be in The Witcher 4, because it is already officially known that he will return.
