Samsung is gearing up for its first Unpacked event in 2025, which, according to leaks, will take place on 22 January. The event is expected to showcase the Galaxy S25 series of flagships, the Project Moohan XR headset, and according to the latest rumours, the company may unveil the next generation of the Galaxy Ring 2 smart ring.
Here's What We Know
According to website DigiTimes, the Galaxy Ring 2 will be available in nine sizes like its predecessor, but Samsung may add 2 new sizes to better compete with the Oura Ring. The new ring will be thinner and will offer longer battery life than the first Galaxy Ring model, which lasts up to 7 days.
It is also expected to improve the accuracy of health sensors and artificial intelligence features. The Galaxy Ring 2 is expected to go on sale in July or August 2025, just like the original Galaxy Ring, which went on sale during this period in 2024.
