Toyota RAV4 Dark Side Perfomance will reveal the crossover's "mysterious side"
Toyota has announced the presentation of a concept version of the RAV4 crossover, which is called Dark Side Perfomance. The car will premiere at the "Tokyo Motor Show 2025", which will be held from 10 to 12 January 2025.
Here's What We Know
Toyota is in no hurry to reveal all the details about this crossover, calling it "an enigmatic and futuristic concept that is different from the traditional street-legal look." Its design recreates images from the world of science fiction, films, anime and games.
Judging by the description and teaser video, the Japanese manufacturer wants to make the familiar production car sparkle with new colours in the imagination of potential buyers. The RAV4 model range already has several kits with a hint of off-roading and even a GR Sport version. However, the company could add another version with a hint of performance and tarmac-oriented.

In any case, the car to be unveiled at the Makuhari Messe Convention Centre is officially a concept, and there's no word on whether it could spawn a production version. We can only wait for the car show to begin.
