One UI 7 beta reveals models of Samsung's upcoming foldable devices
Samsung is expected to introduce new Fold and Flip series foldable devices in 2025 and the latest One UI 7.0 beta software update gives us an early look at these new products.
Here's What We Know
The update revealed model numbers for the successors to the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition (SE), suggesting significant updates to the foldable series. Among the new models expected are the Galaxy Z Flip 7 with model number SM-F751, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 with model number SM-F966 and the Galaxy Z Fold SE 2 with model number SM-F968. These model numbers follow Samsung's traditional naming scheme where each new generation is incremented by 10.
In addition, the One UI 7.0 beta also revealed the model numbers for the Galaxy S25 2025 lineup: the SM-S931, SM-S936, and SM-S938. However, there was no mention of the Galaxy S25 Slim and Galaxy Z Flip FE in the list, raising questions about the current status of their development.
Samsung's new foldable devices are expected to arrive in mid-2025.
